The Macintosh VPN Client

The Mac Guild VPN web pages are intended to help Lockheed Martin employees use Netlock's VPN client to access Lockheed Martin from outside the firewall. Some of the pages contain Lockheed Martin proprietary information, and therefore cannot be displayed in our external mirror. If you are looking for Authentication credentials or IP address, you must use the Internal VPN web site.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN) is a network that uses a shared public infrastructure as a channel for private data communications. Lockheed Martin uses Nortel Networks for its VPN switches. VPN allows employees to connect to Lockheed Martin's internal network using their own ISP. You can connect through DSL, Cable modem, or dial-up access. The Mac VPN client is a product of Netlock, and works with the Nortel VPN server. You can read up on general VPN information at
Nortel's web site. Apani now owns the Netlock VPN client, and you can find detailed information on the client at Apani's web site.

For all Mac related issues, the Mac Guild will act as the sole support for VPN Mac users. Send an email to the Mac Guild mailing list. You must be subscribed to post a message. To subscribe, use the
Mac Guild sign-up page.

For VPN specific issues, contact the ESD (2-SERV) for help.
